In planning, we are to establish objectives in each lesson that we have to teach to the students. Planning as a process begins with objectives and defines strategies, policies and detailed plan to achieve the desired plan.
Instructional planning is one specific type of planning that enables the teacher to visualize and forecast into the “what, why and how” of the teaching-learning process. The instructional plan serves as a communication tool among teachers, between teachers and site administrators, and the teacher and the
student. Effective planning is based on knowledge of the general goals of the school; the objectives of the course or subject; the students' abilities, aptitude, needs and interest,. The planning of the teachers involve two areas, these are the Subject Matter Knowledge and Action System Knowledge.
