Unit
plan reflects long-range goals and are means of organizing various aspects of
the course of study and serves as a basis for developing a set related to daily
teaching plans and educational activities.
Since it
is a plan, it must have components that a teacher must supply to have one good
unit plan. These components are; the objectives, content, skills, learning
activities, and resources and materials. There are also guidelines to
be followed in creating a unit plan. First, teacher must review the class the
required objectives. Second, he must make criterion for mastery. Third, he must
let the students know the score and record results they obtained.
